SATURDAY’S game against Carlisle United is our sixth home league Sky Bet League Two match of the 2019-20 season; we are unbeaten in our four previous games.

OUR new, improved Family Fan Zone in Devonport end will be open from 11am to allow supporters to meet; enjoy each other’s company; get a drink and something to eat; enjoy pre-match entertainment and games for the children, including 3v3 football, archery, golf-putting, and face-painting; watch the early TV game; share thoughts about the match against the Cumbrians; and generally soak up the pre-match vibe. There will also be games for the children and all food and drink in the Family Fan Zone will be half-price. There is also an area to put your feet up with extra-comfortable bean bags; sink your toes into an artificial lawn; or pretend you are at the beach in our giant deck chair to watch the world go by. Admission is free to all.

THE game kicks off at 3pm.

MATCH-DAY admission prices are £25 for adults; £20 for over 65s and under 23s; £11 for under 18s; £8 for under 12s; and £3 for under 8s.

RECEPTION at Home Park is in the Ticket Office and will be open from 9am on match-day.

THE Home Park Superstore is also open from 9am. Saturday’s Match-Day Mania special are footballs reduced from £13 to £8.

THE ground will be open for the match from 1.30pm. Turnstile 16 will stay open until 3.30pm and Turnstile 6 will remain open until five minutes after the second half kicks off.

AWAY fans will be able to pay on the day (cash or card) on Gate 2 at the Barn Park end of Home Park; this will also be a late gate.

THERE is free car-parking in the Outland Road Park & Ride Car-Park adjacent to Home Park, but this will fill up early. Street parking in the area is available, but please take care to note local restrictions. Our advice is to use public transport whenever possible.

THE official Pilgrim Match-Day programme freshly re-designed for 2019-20 will be on sale from the Argyle Superstore and around the ground for the price of £3, from the usual vendors, kiosks, the Home Park Superstore and the family fan zone. There is also our new for 2019-20 season, special children’s programme, which costs just 50p.

BEFORE the game, we will be holding the eighth instalment of our regular Crossbar Challenge, with someone selected from the crowd at this time at every home game to step on to the pitch and attempt to kick the ball onto the crossbar. A £500 prize awaits a successful challenger. In the event that the crossbar is not hit, the £500 rolls over to the prize fund for the next home game on Tuesday, making the pot £550. The prize fund will roll over by £50 week on week, until somebody is able to strike the crossbar.

We only select from seats that are clearly occupied at 1.55pm – so to be in with a chance of playing the Crossbar Challenge, supporters need to be seated before then.

THE food and drink kiosks inside Home Park will be offering Meal Deals throughout the day.

THERE will be a 50-50 Lottery half-time prize draw, with tickets available from the usual sellers. Former Pilgrim Paul McGregor will make the draw.

ALSO at half-time, Manstow Under-9s are taking part in a small-sided game organized by the Argyle Community Trust. This is part of a full package which includes match tickets, a stadium tour, lunch, shop discount, discounted Community Trust roadshow courses and a signed football from the first-team squad.

WE are asking supporters – especially those who come to Home Park early on match-days to experience our new pre-game entertainment – not to stand in the walkways between the front row of seats and the pitch-perimeter boards.  Access to seating in many areas of the ground has become something of an increasing problem, especially for our disabled supporters, so it is essential to keep those walkways clear. Stewards have been asked by the club to keep these areas clear and will, if absolutely necessary, take action to ensure all supporters are able to walk around the stadium safely, and enjoy the on-pitch activity without having their view impeded.

WE have a duty of care to everyone who visits Home Park and, in keeping with our Vision and Values, we take that duty very seriously. That is why we ask all supporters to respect our requests to refrain from persistent standing. By ‘persistent’, we mean “when individuals in seated areas stand for prolonged periods of time other than for short durations during moments of excitement. The Sports Grounds Safety Authority has a legal responsibility for the issuing of licences and, if we, as a club, do not comply with the regulations, they have the power to impose large financial penalties, and, ultimately, to close Home Park.

SUPPORTERS are reminded that they will be banned from attending any football match in this country for at least three years if they use, or even attempt to use, a pyrotechnic device at Home Park. The warning follows the letting-off of a smoke bomb in the recent game at Swindon Town.

In accordance with the EFL Clubs’ Charter, the use of pyrotechnics, such as smoke devices and flares, is strictly prohibited at the ground. The Charter states that any fan found attempting to bring pyrotechnics into any football stadium in England or Wales, or identified discharging them while inside a stadium, will be issued with a ban of not less than three seasons. That ban will apply to every ground in the country. The safety and security of all spectators at Home Park is of paramount importance, and pyrotechnic devices - flares, smoke bombs or fireworks - have no place in any football stadium in this country. The club utterly condemns the use of such devices, which is a criminal offence, as is trying to gain access to a football stadium whilst carrying one. It is not fun; it is not acceptable; it is not legal.

PLYMOUTH Argyle Football Club is a community-focused, values-driven organisation, whose stated aim is to make attending football matches as inclusive and enjoyable as possible for all members of society. We have a zero-tolerance approach to anyone who thinks it is acceptable to bully, intimidate or discriminate against a fellow supporter, player or member of club staff. We encourage supporters to report any instance of inappropriate comments, chanting or behaviour. There is no definitive list of what is or is not appropriate, but, if the target of the behaviour, or anyone else who hears it, feels uncomfortable, then the chances are that it is not acceptable. At Home Park, you can report your concerns to the nearest steward, or to the club, or via our match-day reporting service - text ARGYLE and your message to 66777.

IT is a criminal offence to enter a sports ground whilst drunk and to bring alcohol into the ground. Anyone trying to enter Home Park whilst drunk will be refused entry and anyone found attempting to bring alcohol into the ground will be handed to the police. There is a three-year football banning order linked to these offences.

IT is also a criminal offence to enter the field of play. Pitch incursions pose a threat to the safety of players, officials and spectators and will result in the Pilgrims being disciplined by the Football Association. Such incidents have resulted in clubs being charged and subsequently fined up to £200,000 by Regulatory Commissions.

THE following articles must not be brought into the ground: knives, fireworks, smoke canisters, air-horns, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans, poles and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety. Anyone found to be in possession of any of these articles inside the ground could face a criminal prosecution and will receive an immediate and indefinite banning order from Home Park.
