Six Green Mascots

IT will be a warm Pilgrim welcome to our six mascots for the weekend visit of Grimsby Town in Sky Bet League Two.

We start with 10 year-old Noah Roberts from Somerset, who plays football for Wells City and also represents the Somerset Under-10s at cricket. Noah predicts a 2-1 win for Argyle and plays football with the nephew of Argyle midfielder Joe Edwards.

On to another Joseph Edwards, but this smaller version is going to be a mascot. The eight year-old Joe lives in Gosport and lists his hobbies as football and drawing. He is predicting a 2-0 Argyle victory and, unsurprisingly, his favourite Pilgrim is his namesake.

Christopher Edwards is feeling a lot more bullish with his predictions, going for a 4-0 home triumph. Christopher is nine years-old and from Gosport (we’re guessing relatives here), his favourite Green is Callum McFadzean and hobbies include football and sprinting.

Harrison Dawe from Tavistock is seven year-old and another predicting a 2-0 home win. Harrison’s favourite player is Alex Palmer and he plays for Horrabridge Under-8s, with computer games and watching Argyle his main hobbies.

Pictured with her favourite player, Gary Sawyer, our next mascot is eight year-old Evie May from Plymouth. Evie fancies a 2-1 win for the Greens and lists her hobbies as Argyle (obvs) and Harry Potter.

Finally, from Bideford in north Devon, we will welcome seven year-old Alfie Appleton. Alfie is another going for a 2-0 Argyle victory, he loves playing football and his favourite players are Gary Sawyer and Michael Cooper.
