Argyle v Cheltenham - the Line-Up
GEORGE Cooper became the final of Argyle's summer signings to make a full Sky Bet League Two debut on Saturday.
The midfielder, who has joined the Pilgrims on loan from Peterborough United, was called into the side to face third-placed Cheltenham Town at Home Park in one of two changes to the starting line-up from Tuesday's visit to Crawley Town.
Cooper replaced Jose Baxter in the Argyle midfield, while Dom Telford came into the attack for Byron Moore, who damaged his hamstring at Crawley.
The Pilgrims' line-up was much changed from the one that had taken the field for their last home match, a 2-2 draw against Oldham Athletic.
As well as Cooper and Telford, four other players have since been handed a place in the first 11 by manager Ryan Lowe: captain Gary Sawyer and fellow defender Will Aimson; midfielder Antoni Sarcevic; and forward Joel Grant.
Cheltenham came to Home Park on the back of a 3-2 home win over Bradford City, captained by Plymouth-born fomer Argyle Academy player Ben Tozer.
There was no sign of Reuben Reid, who headed the Argyle scoring charts in 2013-14 - when he was Pilgrims' Player of the Season - and 2014-15. Reid, who signed for Cheltenham in the summer, is on his way back from knee surgery.
