Bow On Board

ARGYLE Ladies are delighted to announce the signing of former Yeovil Town defender Bow Jackson after her contract with Calgary Foothills expired.

It is a tremendous acquisition for the Pilgrims and follows on from a weekend of good news, as the Greens, ironically, defeated Bow’s former club Yeovil in the FA Women’s National League Southern Division and the announcement that Home Park will host the league fixture with Watford Ladies in December.

"Bow will bring a wealth of experience to the club having played in the Women's Super League,” said Argyle Ladies manager Dave Leonard. “We are delighted to finally sign her."

The move represents a return to Home Park in a different sense for Bow, who previously worked as a coach for Argyle Community Trust.

"I can't wait to get back on the field in England and to be coming back to Devon again is a real honour,” said Bow.

“Argyle has always been a team close to me and I cannot wait to get back involved with the club. The girls and the staff have started the season so well, I'm excited to get involved and continue to push the team to its potential."
