ARGYLE can look forward to a challenging Premier League Cup campaign this season, but only if they win their qualifying match against fellow Westcountry side Yeovil Town tomorrow night.
The young Pilgrims face the Glovers at Home Park on Thursday, September 12. If they manage to come out on top, they will qualify for Group B in the round-robin stages, alongside Everton, Fulham and Watford.
The pricing structure for the decisive fixture is as follows:
Family Ticket (Two Adults and up to two Under 18s) £10
Adult Season-Ticket Holder and 1886 Member £5
Over-65 / Under 23 £4
Over-65 / Under 23 Season-Ticket Holder and 1886 Member £3
Under-8 Free with a paying adult.
Last season, the Greens qualified for the group stages of the under-23 competition, where they were pitted against Bristol City, Derby, and defending champions, Aston Villa.
Everton went on to win the tournament, meaning that the Pilgrims will face the defending champions for the second consecutive season, should they qualify.
Although we were eliminated in the group stages last season, the young Greens achieved a memorable 4-1 over Aston Villa at Home Park in their final group game – bowing out of the competition in style.
