THERE will be a inspection at Home Park Stadium at 1pm to assess how the pitch is standing up to Storm Dennis.

Worsening weather conditions during the morning and early afternoon have raised some concerns for match referee Tom Nield, who has taken a look at the playing surface ahead of this afternoon's Sky Bet League Two match against Crewe Alexandra.

Those concerns surround the safety of the players in the current conditions.

Home Park groundstaff are working hard, forking the pitch to help drainage ahead of the scheduled 3pm kick-off.

Tom and his assistants will take another look at 1pm, when a decision will be taken on whethere the game goes ahead.
