Luke Wins Second Award

LUKE Jephcott has been voted the League Two PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month by football fans across the country.

In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the Argyle forward won with 24% of the vote for January, with Oldham Athletic’s Jonny Smith coming close in second place with 23%.

In the fourth of five divisional votes carried out over eleven days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that the Welshman’s strong performances over the last month – in which he scored five goals - has resonated not just with fans on the south coast, but with supporters of all teams.

The full list of contenders from the final shortlist polled were as follows:
• Luke Jephcott (Plymouth Argyle) - 24%
• Jonny Smith (Oldham Athletic) – 23%
• Nathan Thomas (Carlisle United) – 21%
• Ollie Palmer (Crawley Town) – 12%
• Nicky Adams (Northampton Town) - 11%
• Jonny Maxted (Exeter City) – 8%
