Happy Days
BYRON Moore has been at Plymouth Argyle since the summer and he is enjoying his time with the Pilgrims more than ever.
After scoring the opening goals in Saturday’s 2-1 victory at Stevenage in Sky Bet League Two, Byron explained how togetherness is fostering a period of success for the Greens.
“All the lads are sticking together, the team spirit is unbelievable, we just have got to keep it going,” he said.
“The Gaffer loves the lads, we’ve been going out for food and getting together. It’s good and it’s obviously paying off.
“We’ve got to keep playing the way we are playing. The Gaffer always wants us to play the same way, but sometimes it’s hard with the pitch and stuff like that.”
Byron played under manager Ryan Lowe at Bury last year, so he can see the correlation between the two seasons, and it’s obvious that Argyle are replicating the same good run of form.
“I think we are actually doing better this season than we were doing last season” he said. “The momentum we have is good.
“I can’t see us losing, to be honest, with the way we’ve played and the momentum we have got.
“The current record is up there with Liverpool’s, one of the lads said in the changing room that were up there, so we just have to keep on going.
“We’ve got a game on Tuesday against Crawley and then roll on Saturday, win that and its happy days.”
