Travel Disruption

THE Green Army are kindly advised of some upgrade work being undertaken by Network Rail and bridge repairs on the M6 that may impact your journey to watch the Greens at Carlisle tomorrow.

There is major bridge demolition work taking place on the M6 this weekend that will mean the closure of the motorway in both directions between junctions 32 and 33. Please check for an alternative route, as this might have a major impact on your journey time to Carlisle.

The Network Rail engineering work concerned is as follows:

From 4/11 January, buses replace trains between Plymouth and Exeter St Davids. Fans travelling away to Scunthorpe or Carlisle will need to be aware as it may not be possible to reach their destinations in time for kick-off.

From 15/22 February, buses replace trains between Penzance and Truro from Saturday 15 to Sunday 23 February. Fans travelling to the home matches against Crewe Alexandra and Cambridge United will need to depart earlier than usual in order to make kick-off.

An amended train service will also be in place between Truro and Plymouth, with a reduced number of trains. All fans travelling to/from Cornwall should check their journeys carefully before travelling.
