THERE was no football for either of the Argyle Ladies’ teams over the weekend, as the committee issued a statement: “We have taken the decision to suspend football activities until April 4 in line with the club, and with immediate effect.”
The Pilgrims were due to play Portsmouth on Sunday but Pompey had decided, like Argyle, to take a one-club approach to the Coronavirus and not to travel.
Argyle were due to receive MK Dons and Oxford United in the remainder of March with the next, match being on Sunday, April 12, when they are due to visit Portsmouth.
The Development team were also due to be at home against Bude Town with other March matches against St Agnes and Feniton also called off.
If they do resume in April, then the next match will be at home to Feniton on April 5.
