When Ryan Lowe’s Pilgrims return to pre-season duties on Wednesday, they will do so with the name of a new Principal Partner on their training kit.

Bidfood, a local foodservice provider and long-term Club Partner with a base in Lee Mill, have stepped up their support of the Greens to become our Official Training Wear Partner ahead of the 21/22 Sky Bet League One campaign.

The partnership will see Bidfood’s logo adorn the training kit of all teams representing the club, including the first team, our Women’s team, and the Argyle Academy. In addition, Bidfood will also supply food to the first team.

The relationship between Bidfood's Lee Mill depot and Argyle has been going strong for over a decade, with the leading food wholesaler having supported the club through a number of initiatives, including sponsorship of Devon Junior & Minor League takeover days at the Theatre of Greens, stadium ground boards, and Pilgrim Partnerships.

James Greenacre, the club’s Head of Commercial Operations, said: “We are thankful for Bidfood’s outstanding support over the years, and this latest step to Official Training Wear Partner underlines the strength of the partnership for both Bidfood and Argyle.

“With our new website and media offering launching soon, we are hopeful that this season will provide additional exposure and reach to our commercial partners, and to bring Bidfood on that journey with us is exciting.

“I would also like to express gratitude to Beaumont Drylining for their sponsorship of our training wear over the past two seasons.”

Talking about the partnership, Amanda Collings, Head of Free Trade Sales at Bidfood in Lee Mill, said: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with the amazing Argyle team, just in time for their upcoming season in League One.

"Now with all the exciting developments of the ground, we can see some great opportunities for both Bidfood and Argyle to promote a wide range of events utilising the fantastic new facilities available.”
