Academy Scouting Opportunities
If you watch a lot of local, grass-roots football, you may be suitable to join the Argyle Academy’s talent identification group at Home Park.
Our Academy team are on the look-out for more volunteer scouts to assist with identifying talented pre-Academy youngsters in the Devon and Cornwall region.
The role is suitable for candidates who already watch a lot of youth football in the area, and are able to use their relationships with local teams and organisations to recommend players suitable for trials with our Academy.
Individuals associated will be offered opportunities to discuss potential players on a weekly basis with the club’s Head of Academy Recruitment, as well as receive free continuous professional development opportunities, delivered by key members of the club’s Academy and first-team staff.
A good knowledge of local football is desirable.
It is an exciting time to be getting involved with the Argyle Academy, with the club firmly focused on developing our own first-team products from local talent in the years ahead.
