Argyle Academy renews partnership with Independent Football Academy

Argyle Academy renews partnership with Independent Football Academy.

Plymouth Argyle Academy is pleased to confirm the renewal of its relationship with the Independent Football Academy (IFA).

The partnership ensures that positive links, between the two organisations, are maintained, allowing support of young players across the region.

The IFA has worked with aspiring footballers in Devon for many years, with some players going on to progress into the Academy programme at Argyle. This renewal provides a platform for continued collaboration.

Phil Stokes, Academy Manager at Plymouth Argyle, said: "We are pleased to continue our relationship with the Independent Football Academy. Stuart and his team have supported young players in the region for several years, and this renewal ensures that we maintain a positive working relationship moving forward.

“Our focus remains on providing the best possible pathway within Argyle’s Academy, and having good links with local organisations can help support that process."

Stuart Henderson, Independent Football Academy, said: "We are delighted to renew our relationship with Plymouth Argyle Academy. Maintaining this link allows us to keep supporting the journey of young players in the area and ensures they are aware of the opportunities that exist at their local professional club. We look forward to continuing that connection in the seasons ahead."

This renewal underlines Plymouth Argyle Academy’s commitment to building and maintaining strong relationships within the local football community.
