Argyle draw Crystal Palace at home in the Carabao Cup

Sync Fixtures

Argyle have been drawn at home to Crystal Palace in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

After beating Leyton Orient 2-0 in the first round, Argyle have been rewarded with a home tie against the Premier League Eagles in round two.

Managed by Roy Hodgson, Palace finished 11th in the Premier League last season, and they have former Argyle loan goalkeeper Remi Matthews in their squad.

The only time Argyle and Palace have met in this competition was in 2002/03, when it took Palace extra time to defeat the Greens, with Blair Sturrock's goal having earned a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes.

The tie will take place in the week commencing 28 August. We will confirm the specific date, and ticket information, when we have confirmation.
