The latest episode of the Argyle Podcast is available to listen to!
When Darren Purse signed for Argyle in the winter of 2011, he had already played and scored in a cup final, won promotion to the Premier League, and had a couple of seasons at England’s top table. It was almost a career that didn’t even get started, as Purse pursued a job as a pilot. However, success early on with Orient and Oxford gave him a chance to prove how good he was and Birmingham City, under the watchful eye of Trevor Francis, was the making of him.
A couple of decades and 15 clubs later, he’s chatting to us.
This is the story of Darren Purse.
