Argyle have been shortlisted as finalists in two categories at the 2026 Football Business Awards.
Our partnership with local Plymouth charity, M.A.N. Culture, sees the club nominated for the Best Club Marketing Campaign – Non-Premier League award.
The club launched the ‘Stand Up, Stand Together’ campaign aiming to shine a light on the reality of male violence against women and girls. The partnership began highlighting simple, everyday actions and examples of male allyship that men and boys can take to help women and girls feel safe.
The second award the club are nominated for is the Women’s Football Business Award, for our continued efforts and commitment to growing the Argyle Women brand.
The judging panel singled out efforts such as our ‘Making Waves’ documentary, giving exclusive behind-the-scenes access to our women’s team, as well as the incredible growth of our dedicated social media channels and increased attendances.
Upon the news, Jamie Yabsley, Argyle's Head of Marketing and Communications, commented: “These nominations are a testament to the hard work of our media and marketing team as well as the wider departments involved throughout the business.
“It is always nice to be recognised throughout the industry, and these nominations underline our commitment to the wider community, but also our ‘One Argyle’ ethos.
“Fingers crossed we can clinch an award or two when they are announced in May.”
Scott Young, M.A.N. Culture Co-founder, added: “We are delighted that our Stand Up, Stand Together, campaign in partnership with Plymouth Argyle Football Club, has reached the final of the Football Business Awards.
“Through this campaign and our partnership with Plymouth Argyle, we’ve been able to engage with a wide range of men and boys across Plymouth in conversations about masculinity, male violence against women and girls, and how small everyday actions have the power to make a real difference.”
