Millie Pullen signs for Argyle

Argyle Women have signed versatile forward Millie Pullen.

The 21-year-old joins the club from fellow FA Women’s National League side Lewes, and will be available for selection this weekend when Argyle face Millwall Lionesses in the FA Cup.

Pullen, who has represented the Republic of Ireland and Manchester City at youth level, made her senior debut for Birmingham City during the 2023/24 season. She subsequently moved to West Bromwich Albion before joining Cheltenham Town towards the end of last campaign.

The forward made an immediate impact after signing for Lewes this summer, scoring in a 4-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion PGA in the FAWNL Cup.

On joining Argyle, Pullen said: “I’m really glad to be here, it’s good to finally get the move over the line and I can’t wait to get started.

“I’m settling in well so far, the girls have been very welcoming. I think the facilities and coaching staff are really good here at Argyle and I’m looking forward to making my debut at Home Park.”

Argyle Head Coach Matt Green believes Pullen’s arrival will add another dimension to his side.

He said: “Millie is a forward who likes to get at defenders, run in behind and cause problems for the opposition. She’s got good pace and is very direct in the way she plays, which gives us something different in the attacking areas.

“She’s had some good experiences at different clubs already in her career, and we’re looking forward to working with her, helping her settle in and seeing what she can bring to the group.”
