Argyle TV | What's On This Week
It’s another mammoth week on and off the pitch for Argyle this week, and Argyle TV is fully stocked with features and content from behind the scenes at Home Park.
Monday is all about the first team. Matchday Moments brings all the action from Saturday’s victory at Wycombe Wanderers, while manager Steven Schumacher and defensive ever-present Dan Scarr look ahead to the crunch clash against another side flying high at the top of Sky Bet League One, Sheffield Wednesday.
On Tuesday lunchtime, supporters can whet their big match appetite with an exclusive feature with former Argyle Player of the Season Krisztian Timar.
The Hungarian former centre-half, affectionately nicknamed ‘The Beast’ by the Green Army, returned to Home Park with his family on a recent visit to the UK, and Argyle TV’s Charlie Price caught up with Timar to reflect on his time in Devon as one of a trio incredibly popular Magyars imports, alongside Peter Halmosi and Akos Buzsaky.
Then, attention turns fully to a huge evening for Schumacher’s table-topping Pilgrims, as they host Sheffield Wednesday. The fixture is available to stream live and worldwide on Argyle TV for £10, with a live and free pre-match show hosted by Charlie Price building up to the game from an hour before kick off.
From 1am on Wednesday, Argyle TV subscribers can relive a night under the lights when the extended highlights and full match replay goes live, with Matchday Moments and Tunnel Cam taking us into the sanctity of the Home Park dressing room for further insight later that day.
The games are coming thick and fast, and so Thursday’s Argyle TV coverage turns its focus to Saturday’s visit of Accrington Stanley. Argyle manager Steven Schumacher and a selected member of the first-team squad will look ahead to that game, before midfielder Matt Butcher talks us through his five-a-side team at 7pm that evening.
It was Adam Randell’s 22nd birthday on Saturday, and the promising midfielder was rewarded with three points to mark the occasion. On Friday, its his turn to bring the gifts, taking us through his First, Best, and Lasts at 7pm.
On Saturday, the Argyle TV cameras are back on as Accrington visit Home Park. Erin Black builds up to the game with special guests from 2pm, before live coverage kicks in ahead of 3pm. Domestic supporters will be able to follow the action live with audio commentary for just £2.50, while overseas supporters will be able to enjoy four-camera coverage as standard at 3pm.
As always, Steven Schumacher and his side’s post-match reaction comes first to Argyle TV, before extended highlights and the full match replay become available to subscribers in the early hours of Sunday morning.
There has never been a better time to sign up to Argyle TV, for as little as £4.50 per month, and enjoy the raft of features and new content being produced daily at Home Park.
