Argyle will play five pre-season friendlies in preparation for the 2025/26 FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division campaign.
Marie Hourihan’s side will play several games at home, including one at Home Park against Northern Premier Division side Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, 27 July.
Tickets for the Sunday clash at the Theatre of Greens will be priced at £1 for adults, whilst Under-14s go free. They will go on sale via the Argyle Ticket Office in due course.
Argyle kick-off their pre-season with a home tie against Bridgwater United, to be played at Plymouth Marjon University. Bridgwater finished seventh in the Division One South West, the fourth tier of women’s football, last season, winning eight of their 22 league matches. They also played Argyle in the Cup early last campaign, with the Greens coming out as 4-2 victors at Coach Road.
Over the next fortnight, the Pilgrims host two home games, facing Cardiff City at Manadon Sports Hub, then the Wolves game at Home Park.
The Welsh side were crowned champions of the Adran Premier in April, securing a place in this year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League. The Bluebirds will learn about their opponents for their qualifying campaign later in June.
A behind-closed-doors fixture in the Midlands against West Bromwich Albion precedes the final pre-season fixture at Manadon against Southampton Under-21s. The Saints reached the semi-final of the FAWNL Plate, before being knocked out by eventual runners-up Cheltenham Town.
Fixtures at Marjon and Manadon, against Torquay, Cardiff and Southampton, are free for supporters to attend.
