Argyle Women have added two more signings to the squad ahead of their opening game of the 2025/26 FAWNL season.

Ellie Noble and Paris Dalton both join ahead of Sunday’s game at Home Park against Hashtag United.

Experienced midfielder Noble joins the Pilgrims after spells with Oxford United, Crystal Palace and Blackburn.

The 25-year-old progressed through the Oxford pathway before departing for Women’s Super League 2 side Crystal Palace in 2022.

Dalton, also a midfielder, comes in after a successful trial period during pre-season, during which she featured in many games and scored one goal.

Dalton most recently played for Derby County, but prior to the spell with the Rams, she played for Birmingham City, Burnley, and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

Whilst playing in her youth career, she also had several call-ups to England Under-18s squads.

Argyle Head Coach Marie Hourihan said: “Ellie joins us with a wealth of Championship experience with Blackburn Rovers last season and will add real composure in the middle of the park.

“A technically gifted midfielder, she offers both control and leadership, and we’re excited to see the impact she’ll have on and off the pitch.

“Paris is an experienced midfield player with very good technical ability and impressed us with her performances in pre-season. Her attacking flair and versatility will add real depth to our midfield.”

Christian Kent, Executive Lead for Women’s Football at Argyle, said: “Paris is someone who was with us over pre-season and had a successful trial period, resulting in her signing. We’re glad to get the deal completed, as her skill set and experience will help us massively in the season ahead.”

“Ellie adds some important experience to our growing squad, which is something we thought would make a big difference to the squad both on and off the pitch. We can’t wait to see what she does here at Home Park.

"It's great to be able to acquire both players as free agents ahead of the new season.”
