Argyle have completed the season-long loan of Bristol City forward Tianna Teisar.
The 19-year-old forward broke into the Robins’ first-team squad in 2022 and made further appearances in what is now the Women’s Super League 2 in the 2022/2023 season.
Teisar finished the 2023/24 season on loan at Gwalia United, gaining valuable first-team experience, scoring two goals in ten appearances.
She has also been capped for Wales Under-17s and Under-19s sides, and recently earned her first call-up to the senior side in 2024.
Argyle Head Coach Marie Hourihan said: “We’re very excited to complete the loan signing of Tianna, which immediately adds further attacking prowess to our frontline. She’ll offer us goalscoring and attacking threat across the whole front line, and I can’t wait for her to get her spell at Home Park underway.”
Christian Kent, Executive Lead for Women’s Football at Argyle, said: “Following the injury to Lulu, it was clear we needed to help bolster our attacking output this season, and Tianna is someone who can come into our side and help straight away.
“She has higher-level experience despite only being 19, and is someone I can’t wait to see play in green. Thank you to Bristol City for working with us on this loan deal.”
Bristol City’s Head of Player Recruitment, Michelle Yeowell, added: “This is a good opportunity for Tianna to get regular minutes in a competitive league. We look forward to following her progress.”
