Argyle Women have completed the free signing of forward Una Lue.
The 19-year-old joins the Greens having most recently played for fellow FAWNL Southern Premier Division side Cheltenham Town.
Una made 67 appearances for the Robinesses, scoring 31 goals, after also having previous academy experiences with Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion.
Lue will wear the number two shirt and is available to be included in the squad for today’s game against Real Bedford at Home Park.
Head Coach Marie Hourihan said: “We are very excited to bring Una here to Home Park. She’s a player that knows the league and opposition, for this weekend, very well, so will be an exciting addition to our squad and provide superb attacking options to our already-strong frontline.”
Christian Kent, Executive Lead for Women’s Football at Argyle, said: “We are delighted to confirm the addition of Una here at Argyle.
“As we have done before in recent weeks, we saw a chance to bring in a quality player on a free transfer, to add depth to our squad. Not only that, Una is someone who has a proven goalscoring record in our division. It’s great to have her here.”
