Argyle's entry into the 2026/27 Premier League Under-21 Cup has been confirmed, as have our initial group-stage fixtures.
Format
The Greens are in this year's competition, which has a four-team group stage, followed by a 16-team knockout stage.
Its format is similar to the old-style Champions League, each team plays their group-stage opponents twice, once home and once away.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage. This will consist of a Round of 16, Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final.
If a knockout stage game ends level after 90 minutes, they go to extra-time and then penalties.
Group-stage fixtures
The Greens have been drawn against Leicester City, Cardiff City and AFC Bournemouth in the initial group stage.
Our first game takes place away at Leicester, before a Home Park clash against Cardiff to follow. Our first round of fixtures conclude with a trip to AFC Bournemouth, which will take place at Wimborne Town.
In the repeats, we face Leicester and Bournemouth at Home Park; these games sandwich a Friday-night trip to Cardiff.
There will be a limited number of tickets available for our trip to Leicester on Friday, 14 August. These can be purchased from our ticketing site until 12pm on Friday.
