Getting To The Stadium

By Car (look for the Riverside Stadium signs):

• From the North: A1, A689, A19, then A66 towards Middlesbrough

• From the South: A19, then A66 towards Middlesbrough

• From the East: A171 or A174, then A66 towards Middlesbrough

• From the West: A66 towards Middlesbrough

By Train
Middlesbrough railway station is a short walk from the Riverside Stadium. There are regular direct trains to York, Leeds, Manchester and London, and connecting services via Eaglescliffe and Darlington. 

By Bus
Middlesbrough bus station is a 20-25 minute walk from the Riverside Stadium. Arriva buses as well as National Express and Megabus coaches use this bus station. There are currently no direct bus services to the stadium from the bus station.

By Air
Teesside International Airport is a 12-mile drive from the Riverside Stadium. The airport offers connections via London and Amsterdam to cities across the world.

Parking

There are six match-day car parks on-site at the Riverside Stadium.

Subject to availability, there is general match-day parking which can be purchased for £6, also subject to a £1 per pass processing fee. This is sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Access and exiting the car parks is restricted to one hour prior to kick-off, and 30 minutes after the final whistle.

The hosts also offer a 'Drop Off Pass', valid for a designated drop-off area at the bus stop on The Halyard. The pass allows vehicles to pass through road closure points at certain times to assist supporters who cannot walk long distances.

Turnstiles

The turnstiles open 90 minutes prior to kick-off.

Supporters can be searched prior to entering the stadium. Thorough searches will be carried out by Middlesbrough's stewards at the turnstiles.

Any supporters found with prohibited items in their possession may be arrested.

Smoking

Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes (and/or similar products) is not allowed inside the Riverside Stadium.

Food & Drink

There are concessions stalls throughout the Riverside Stadium supplying hot and cold drinks including alcohol, as well as an extensive food range including burgers, pies, pizzas and hot dogs.

There are more food and confectionary choices available in the Generation Red Family Zone.

Fan Zone

Middlesbrough's Fan Zone is open for every game, located opposite the Ayresome Park gates.

Supporters can enjoy the pre-match atmosphere with a drink or a bite to eat, plus there’s live music and entertainment from local artists and a range of activities with the hosts' compere Gary Philipson.

The Fan Zone is usually open around three hours before kick-off and immediately after the full-time whistle.

Multi-Faith Prayer Room

Middlesbrough's prayer room at the Riverside Stadium allows supporters of all faiths a quiet place for religious observance.

It's available for staff and supporters to use whenever the stadium is open, including match days.

Club Shop

Middlesbrough's retail offering is open on match days, from 9am until kick-off, then for one hour after the full-time whistle.

The hosts offer a ‘Quiet Hour’ for supporters with autism, anxiety or any sensory impairment, and it is from 10am to 11am.

Match-Day Programme

The match-day programme #UTB is available to purchase at the ground, or online at ignitionsportsmedia.com.

The programme is priced at £3. Programmes are available at the club’s retail store, situated in the North West corner of the stadium or from programme sellers in various locations outside the stadium.

Lost Property

Any property found within the stadium will be recorded at main reception. If any supporters find any lost property this should be handed in to the nearest steward. Supporters can contact main reception on 01642 929420.
