Christmas Carols at Home Park

We are delighted to announce that our popular Christmas carol service will return to Home Park on Wednesday, 15 December.

Having been unable to host our well-attended Christmas celebration last year due to government guidance for COVID-19, we are more excited than ever to deliver a night of community carols in the Lyndhurst Road Stand. Admission is free, and doors will open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Our club Chaplain, Arthur Goode, will lead a service including readings from football staff, as well as players from both our men’s and women’s teams. Meanwhile, carols will be accompanied by the Salvation Army band and choirs from five local schools: Boringdon, Marine Academy, Sherford Vale, Whitleigh Primary, and Widey Court.|

Long-serving club partner PL1 Events will also be returning to provide their fantastic staging and audiovisual services for the event, following many years of supporting us in hosting this spectacular community event - once again we are grateful for their support.

Pilgrim Pete and Father Christmas are also scheduled to make special appearances throughout the festivities, while mince pies and mulled wine are on offer as a welcome to guests. Refreshment kiosks will be open throughout the concourses for refreshments.

Whilst everyone and all ages are welcome, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please note, the supervision of children remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult.

We encourage everyone to experience the atmosphere of Home Park and enjoy this family event.

Although the carol service is free entry, we will be holding a bucket collection for Plymouth Food Bank, as well as establishing a drop off point for guests to donate food items for those in need.
