Craig Noone to represent Argyle at TST
Former player Craig Noone will return to the green of Argyle for this summer’s TST tournament in Cary, North Carolina.
Noone joins Head Player-Coach David Norris and Assistant Player-Coach Jamie Lowry’s squad for the $1million winner-takes-all event, accompanying the likes of Jake Jervis, Graham Carey and Oscar Halls.
The 37-year-old made 62 appearances and scored six goals for the Pilgrims, becoming a firm fans’ favourite along the way.
Excited to be representing Argyle once again, Noone commented: “I hold very fond memories of my time at Argyle as the club gave me my first opportunity in professional football.
“Running out at Home Park was some of the greatest times of my career and I am absolutely buzzing to wear the green of Argyle again this summer.
“I have heard great things about TST and really like the look of the squad being built by David and Jamie, so can’t wait to get out to America and get started.
“I look forward to seeing as many of the Green Army out there as possible.”
TST (The Soccer Tournament) takes place at WakeMed Soccer Park from 4 to 9 June, with the likes of Villarreal, Borussia Dortmund and AFC Bournemouth also competing.
