Fewer than 100 spaces left for Project 35 Fun Run

Green Army Fun Run

Excitement is building for the third annual Green Army Fun Run taking place in Central Park, Plymouth on Sunday, 2 November. If you are thinking of getting involved, you must be quick (no pun intended!) as there are fewer than 100 spaces left for what is already turning out to be the biggest and best Trust Fun Run to date.

Entry is just £5, and the run is open to people of all abilities aged 11 and over, and each runner will receive:

• FREE exclusive finishers t-shirt

• FREE exclusive finishers medal

• A chance to run around the pitch at Home Park, with the race finishing at the dugouts inside the Theatre of Greens

• A chance to meet the Plymouth Argyle Women players who will be presenting finishers with their medals

• A photo opportunity with Argyle mascot, Pilgrim Pete

We also encourage friends and family along to enjoy the day, take part in the range of fun activities available, and enjoy the wonderful green space at Central Park.

Runners will be raising money for Project 35, our award-winning social impact project, in partnership with Ginsters, aimed at tackling poverty in the region.

Trust staff are setting up a special Athletes Village on the Central Park tennis courts and football pitch. This will act as an information and warm-up point for runners but will also contain a range of activities to keep the family entertained including inflatable football darts, inflatable penalty shootout, and games for adults and kids to enjoy while they wait to cheer you over the finish line.

Hot and cold refreshments will be available for family and friends at Central Park Hub throughout the day, making this an event for everyone.

We ask that each runner raises a minimum of £35 in sponsorship with all money going to Project 35. Your sponsorship will directly fund meaningful community work in our local areas.

Project 35 has been tackling poverty in Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall for a year through a comprehensive campaign of fundraising, awareness raising, social outreach, food donations, education, and charity support.
