Finn nominated for League One Apprentice award

Tegan Finn

Tegan Finn has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Apprentice of the Season award, sponsored by LFE.

Tegan is joined on the three-man shortlist by Sulyman Krubally of Burton Albion and Stevenage's Ryan Doherty.

18-year-old Finn has made 23 appearances for Argyle, after helping the Under-18s to the South West Youth Alliance and Merit League One titles in 2023/24. As a 16-year-old, he became Argyle's sixth youngest-ever player when he made his league debut as a substitute against Leeds United, at Elland Road, in November 2024.

This season, Finn has stepped up another level. After signing his first professional contract in August 2025, he went on to score his first two senior goals in a Vertu Trophy tie against Spurs Under-21s the following month. Across all competitions, he has made 19 appearances this term, scoring three and assisting twice.

Argyle have also been nominated for the Community Club of the Season award, going up against Blackburn Rovers and Bristol Rovers.

Additionally, Argyle Community Trust's 'Argyle 4 Autism' project, co-designed by first-team players Joe Edwards and Julio Pleguezuelo, is up for the Community Project of the Season award.

The ceremony, where these awards and the divisional Player of the Season, Team of the Season and other awards will be decided, takes place on Sunday, 19 April, live on Sky Sports.
