Argyle Women’s forward Olivia Francis has been voted the club’s Player of the Month for September.

Francis found the back of the net four times in five games, and helped contribute further with many assists for the remaining 17 goals scored by the Greens in the month.

Olivia won the supporters’ poll with 36% of the vote, ahead of Ellie Noble (26%), Caitlin Smith (21%), and Roisin Kivel (17%).

Francis said: “I’m delighted to have been voted Player of the Month. I’m thoroughly enjoying my time since arriving in the summer and playing a part in a great group of players. That’s a credit to the belief of both the staff and my teammates for allowing me to express myself on the pitch.

“It’s a really exciting time here at this club.  Every game in this league is crucial to come away with three points, so I’m hoping to contribute as much as possible to help the team with a massive month ahead for us.”
