Grant Scoops October Award

Midfielder Conor Grant has been named the club’s Player of the Month for October.

The Everton Academy graduate, who has been excelling in his role at left-wing back this season, netted three goals and assisted another as Argyle went unbeaten through the month.

The three strikes – all impressive, as we have come to expect with Conor’s left foot - came in home victories against Burton Albion, Bolton Wanderers and Ipswich Town.

Grant was also nominated for the PFA Vertu Motors Sky Bet League One Fans’ Player of the Month award.

Upon receiving the award, Conor said: "I'm really pleased and honoured to win the award - it's great recognition for me but honestly I thought with our performances it could have been any one of us.

"I'm grateful to the fans for their support and it means a lot to me. The supporters have been great for us this year and I just hope we can keep repaying them on the pitch."
