Hatch and Issaka Called Up for Wales Under-17s

Joe Hatch and Freddie Issaka have once again been called up to represent Wales Under-17s.

The young Dragons have three fixtures in the UEFA European Championship 2022/23 qualifying round later in October.

Freddie and Joe will be part of the Wales squad for fixtures against Croatia (Thursday, 20 October), Sweden (Sunday, 23 October) and Albania (Wednesday, 26 October). All three games will take place in Porec and Novigrad, in the north west of Croatia.

Academy Manager Phil Stokes said: “We are delighted that both Freddie and Joe have been selected again for Wales Under-17s, this time in a competitive tournament participating in the UEFA European Championship. 

“This is another fantastic opportunity for them to experience tournament football against different countries at international level. 

“We would like to wish Joe and Freddie, as well as all the Wales staff and players, the best of luck in Croatia."
