Help us celebrate Argyle fan Charlie Trevethan's 100th birthday!

Charlie Trevethan

Argyle fan Charlie Trevethan will soon turn 100 years old.

Still passionate about the Greens, Charlie might be the only person alive who remembers watching Jack Leslie and Sammy Black play, and we would like to help him celebrate making his century.

We recently visited Mr Trevethan at his home, and interviewed him for an Argyle TV feature which will go live on his birthday, on 10 December, when Charlie will return to the stadium for a birthday party.

Bob Wright, from the Argyle Archive and Greens on Screen, is helping to organise a special surprise for Charlie on the day. We are confident that he will not see this page on the website – and if you do, don’t tell him! – so we are asking for supporters to perhaps write Charlie a letter or send him a card to wish him a happy birthday.

You can send cards or letters addressed for Charlie to 155 Pemros Road, Plymouth, PL5 1LT – don’t worry, it’s not his address, he won’t see them until the big day!
