Home Park Christmas Carols 2024
We are delighted to announce that our popular annual Christmas Carol service will return this year and take place at Home Park on Thursday, 12 December.
The carol service returns to Argyle’s festive calendar of events, and we are excited to deliver a night of community carols once again. Admission is free, and doors will open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Entrance to the event will be through Exit Gate 8.
Our Club Chaplain, Arthur Goode, will lead a service including readings from a wide range of Club representatives. Meanwhile, carols will be accompanied by the Plymouth City Brass Academy Band and choirs from several local schools: Torbridge Primary School, Ernesettle Community School, Bickleigh Down Church of England Primary School, Manadon Vale Primary School, St. Matthew’s Church of England Primary School and Compton Primary School.
Long-serving club partner PL1 Events will also be returning to provide their fantastic staging and audiovisual services for the event, following many years of supporting us in hosting this spectacular community event – once again we are grateful for their support.
Pilgrim Pete and Father Christmas are also scheduled to make special appearances throughout the festivities, while refreshments, mince pies, Christmas pasties and more will be available to purchase from food kiosks.
Whilst everyone and all ages are welcome, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please note - the supervision of children remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult.
We encourage everyone to experience the atmosphere of Home Park and enjoy this family event.
Although the carol service is free entry, we will be holding a bucket collection for Project 35 and welcome any donations towards our community social impact project.
We will be providing British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation at our Christmas Carols event. If you require any access or additional support for this event please contact supporters@pafc.co.uk.
