Huddersfield game to be dedicated 'Health' fixture

Unite For Access

Argyle’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Huddersfield Town on Saturday, 21 March, will be our dedicated ‘Health’ match, with an array of activities taking place.

We will be working closely with Level Playing Field to promote their ‘Unite for Access’ campaign.

The Level Playing Field 'Unite for Access' campaign is an annual period of inspiration and celebration of good access and inclusion at sports venues.

Everyone is welcome at all Argyle matches and we have provisions in place, including Soccer Sight commentary, Disability Liaison Officers, and sensory packs. As well, Home Park is assistance dog friendly, to ensure that the match-day experience is great for all.

Saturday’s game will also see us work closely once again with the Chestnut Appeal, to offer the Green Army PSA blood tests to screen for prostate cancer.

This initiative has run for many years and has proven extremely popular again, with all spots filled at this year’s clinic. Unfortunately, walk-ins cannot be accommodated for these tests due to clinical requirements.

Argyle's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager, Siobhan Robbie-James, commented: “This dedicated Health fixture is an opportunity to once again showcase to the Green Army the range of services and activity available to all to ensure visitors have a great experience at Home Park.

“Argyle has always been about its community and will continue to be so, and we are delighted to offer an array of provisions to ensure it is a place for all."
