By becoming a member, you will directly support the Archive's work preserving, protecting and sharing the history of Plymouth Argyle for future generations. From treasured memorabilia to match records and personal stories, the Argyle Archive are committed to ensuring that Argyle’s rich heritage is secured for the future.
The Argyle Archive is an independent charity working in partnership with Plymouth Argyle Football Club to protect, promote and celebrate the club’s history. Their collection spans from the earliest days of Argyle through to the present, including medals, match-worn shirts, rare memorabilia, and an almost complete library of first-team programmes dating back to 1945.
They also run Greens on Screen, the definitive record of every Plymouth Argyle match and first-team player since the professional club was founded in 1903. This unique resource is used by supporters, historians and researchers and is the envy of many clubs. There are several heritage displays at Home Park already, and with your support, more can be done.
The Argyle Archive is supported by funding from Argyle, but they also need your help to continue their work. Your support helps cover essential costs such as secure storage, website maintenance, and insurance. The Archive also need support to modernise the code and secure the future of Greens on Screen.
Funding allows the Archive to acquire important pieces of Argyle history when they become available, and to create exhibitions and displays so supporters can experience the club’s heritage first-hand.
The Argyle Archive Membership programme has been generously sponsored by Classic Builders. This will make sure that all donations go towards supporting the work of the Argyle Archive.
