James Storer became the latest Pilgrim when he penned a two-year deal, with an option of an additional third year, on Thursday.
The 21-year-old, who arrived on a permanent deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers, spoke of his excitement to sign for the Greens.
“It’s great,” Storer told Argyle TV. “I’m so thrilled to be here and have this opportunity.
“It’s a massive club; it’s a Championship club, definitely going in the right direction. I’m thrilled to be part of it and keep progressing. It’s a big step to come here, one I’m looking forward to making the most of.
“I spoke to the Gaffer, and his ambition was clear from the phone call. He just said it’s a blank canvas; you can come in and be you.”
“I’m really excited to get to see everyone and get the balls rolling on the pitch as well.”
Storer spent last season on loan with Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton, having previously had loan experience at Chester and Darlaston.
It was this experience that James said helped him grow and develop into the man he is today, ready for a permanent move away from Molineux.
He said: “Going up to Scotland by myself last year, that makes you mature and grow up. From a football point of view, going to a men’s environment from an academy environment that you’ve grown up in, it makes you grow up and helps you develop.
“Like every keeper, you’re there to make saves and that’s something that I love doing. I like making big saves in big moments, I like to be commanding, and I like to have the ball at my feet as well.
“I think it’s a good time to come away and make a big step in joining Argyle, one I’m definitely looking forward to giving my all.”
