In the Vertu Trophy, Ogbeta assisted Jon Russell for the Tykes' fifth goal in their 5-2 win over Manchester United Under-21s.

There were also three League One appearances for Callum Wright in October.

Wigan also played their second Vertu Trophy group match, as Wright picked up 65 minutes in a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-21s.
