In Thursday night’s FAWNL Cup tie against Marine Academy Plymouth, Argyle Women’s midfielder Lulu Jarvis suffered a serious leg injury, which caused the fixture to be abandoned with the Greens 3-0 up.
Lulu was taken by ambulance to Derriford Hospital, where she will receive surgery in the next day or two for fractures to her tibia and fibula.
We will fully support Lulu during her recovery period, which is likely to be a significant period.
Well done to physio Jack Frith, and all our support staff for their swift response to make Lulu as comfortable as possible during a difficult time.
