Match Preview | Argyle v Lincoln City

Sync Fixtures

Lincoln City are Monday's visitors to Home Park, and they bring with them the dubious record of being the team with the most draws in the EFL.

The Imps have drawn 19 of their 39 games this season, winning 10 and losing 10, giving them 49 points and putting them in 14th place. One of those 19 draws came against Argyle. When the sides met earlier this season, it was a 1-1 draw in Lincolnshire. Adam Randell opened the scoring with a fine 20-yard effort, but Max Sanders equalised for the Imps.

When the sides last met at Home Park, last season, Lincoln won 2-1, with Max Melbourne scoring an injury-time winner for the visitors.

After a recent three-game run of defeats to Exeter City, Peterborough United and Fleetwood Town, Lincoln achieved a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough against Sheffield Wednesday before winning 2-0 at home to Cheltenham Town.

Both goals against Cheltenham came via Ben House, who took his tally to ten league goals this season. Striker House, 23, is in his first season at Lincoln, having signed from Eastleigh in the summer.

Lincoln's manager is Mark Kennedy, who also joined the club in the last close season. Kennedy was previously manager of Macclesfield Town, and had a spell as assistant at Birmingham City before heading to Lincoln. In his playing career, Kennedy played for Millwall, Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers among others.

Schumacher Says
"They're a good team. It's never an easy game against them. They've got some quality individuals that can hurt you if you don't concentrate and we'll have to be ready for them.

“I remember the game against them, at their place early on the season. It was a tough game. We were in great form as well going into that. We were flying, but we got out of it and we said, at the end of our game, it's a good point."
