Argyle Community Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Miles Lovegrove as the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees, following the departure of Ryan Ramsey.
A highly accomplished executive known for integrating commercial growth, Miles steps into the Chair role to help drive the Trust’s strategic governance and expansion.
Miles is rooted in the South West, and his connection with the region shapes his leadership and personal values. He is passionate about giving back to the communities of Devon and Cornwall, and championing opportunities that inspire, include, and improve lives across the area. He also brings over two decades of experience leading purpose-driven organisations, with a proven record in strategic growth, culture development, and sustainable business.
Miles currently serves as Chief Finance and Integration Officer at Brand Revolution, a Certified B Corporation and one of the UK’s fastest-growing brand and marketing agencies. In his role, Miles has successfully overseen significant strategic and financial transformation including the successful integration of multiple acquisitions, securing growth funding through private equity, and embedding a culture of collaboration and sustainability across an international workforce spanning the UK, Europe, and the US.
A seasoned business leader, Miles combines commercial discipline with a strong sense of purpose. His expertise in strategic leadership, governance, and business transformation has helped shape Brand Revolution into a values-led agency that balances profit with purpose. His appointment as Chair reflects a commitment to applying the same principles - purpose, people, and performance - to help strengthen and expand the Trust’s community impact across the Southwest.
“I’m honoured to take on the role of Chair for Argyle Community Trust,” said Miles. “The Trust’s mission to inspire, include, and improve lives through the power of sport and community perfectly aligns with my personal and professional values.
“I’m passionate about building opportunities that lift others, create belonging, and drive meaningful change across our communities.”
Mark Lovell, Argyle Community Trust Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome Miles as our new Chair. His experience in senior board leadership, nurturing organisational culture, and delivering strategic growth brings enormous value to the Trust.
“Miles’ commercial insight and purpose-led mindset will help us strengthen governance, scale our programmes, and continue to deliver real impact across Devon and Cornwall.”
Miles’ appointment marks an exciting new chapter for The Trust as it continues to expand its reach, deepen its partnerships, and deliver on its mission to create lasting positive change.
