Muslic adds set-piece coach Auer to staff

Miron Muslic

Argyle have appointed Hubert Auer as set-piece coach until the end of the season.

Born in Austria, Auer is a former professional goalkeeper and has also spent time as a goalkeeping coach.

He now joins Head Coach Miron Muslic’s staff for the rest of the season, supporting the work of Assistant Head Coach Adin Osmanbasic, first-team coaches Eddie Lattimore and Kevin Nancekivell, and goalkeeping coach Darryl Flahavan.

Muslic is delighted to bring such a specialist position to the Argyle coaching staff and commented: “Set pieces have become a really important part of the game in the past few years and I am really happy to bring Hubert in to focus specifically on improving our set pieces both from an attacking and defending point of view.

“We are all aware we have not scored enough goals from set pieces this season and we hope to change that with Hubert’s input and expertise.

“I want to welcome him to Argyle and look forward to seeing the influence he has on the team.”

Hubert’s appointment is subject to receiving a visa and work permit.
