New CGIs released for Brickfields Community Hub
New CGIs show impressive redevelopment plans ahead of temporary Brickfields closure.
Fresh CGIs have been released showcasing the incredible transformation planned for some of the interior spaces at the new Brickfields Hub development.
The impressive visuals further demonstrate the ambitious plans for the development, due to commence in September, to deliver a thriving new community hub to make local people proud and improve health and wellbeing for generations.
The latest updates showcase the transformation of bespoke, affordable, and inclusive gym and studio spaces within the hub, offering a more diverse programme of activities and catering for the fitness needs of users of all ages and abilities.
Redevelopment will also ensure fitness classes and sessions are enjoyed in a vibrant and dynamic space, with the spacious 117 square metre studio designed to enable it to quickly be transformed into a multi-use function room for events and socials.
Designs have been tailored to ensure they meet the requirements of the community through public feedback and consultation. Working groups have been established which include key stakeholders, health groups, young people, and existing users of the site to deliver a hub the community needs and deserves.
From Friday, 1 September 2023, Brickfields Sports Centre will no longer be operated by Plymouth Active Leisure (PAL), as ownership of the building transfers to Argyle Community Trust ACT, the official charity partner of Plymouth Argyle Football Club.
To make these ambitious and exciting plans a reality, Brickfields will be temporarily closed from Friday, 1 September as the new operator improves and upgrades the facility.
