Olivia Francis has joined Argyle ahead of the 2025/26 FAWNL Southern Premier Division season.
The 19-year-old winger joins from Manchester United’s Academy. She started her career at Pontypridd FC before two seasons with United Under-21s and a dual-registration spell with Liverpool Feds.
Francis has been a part of the Wales youth set-up for several years, from under-13s, whilst also captaining her country on multiple occasions.
Head Coach Marie Hourihan was delighted with securing the signing of the forward, saying: “Olivia is an exciting signing for us and we’re very happy to have her down here at Home Park. She’s a pacy and attacking-minded player who will give us an edge going forward.
“Her experience for the Wales youth sides, in academy football at Manchester United, and in women’s football already, is a huge thing, and I can’t wait to see her grow as a player in green.”
Christian Kent, Executive Lead for Women’s Football at Argyle, said: “Olivia is a player we felt would add some attacking threat to our already strong frontline. Her pace and confidence are something we identified as key components of her overall game and something that can help us succeed.”
