Victor Palsson has departed Argyle by mutual consent, to pursue a new opportunity overseas.
Both parties have agreed the early termination of his contract for personal reasons.
The Icelandic international joined Argyle in the summer of 2024 and went on to make 31 appearances in Green.
Upon his departure, the 34-year-old had some words for the Green Army, commenting: “I’m really grateful for my time at Plymouth Argyle and to those who gave me the chance to play in English football again.
“It was short, and didn’t go how I, or anyone, had hoped, but I’m thankful for the opportunity.
“I wish the club, the players, the staff and everyone involved with Argyle nothing but the best moving forward.
“And to the Green Army: we’re all just humans doing our best. Your support means more than you know.
“Thank you and all the best for the future.”
We thank Victor for all his efforts in Green and wish him well for the next stage of his career.
