Parkway Preview

Argyle face Plymouth Parkway on the evening of Tuesday, 11 July for the annual pre-season fixture held at Bolitho Park. Kick-off will be at 7.30pm, and the game is sold out.

When the sides met a year ago in pre-season, the game finished in a 2-2 draw, with Ryan Hardie and Joe Edwards on target for the Pilgrims.

Off the back of promotion in 2021/22, Lee Hobbs guided Parkway to an impressive 10th placed finish last season in the Southern League Premier Division South, which is one division below the Vanarama National League South.

Parkway have requested that fans attending the game use public transport where possible because of limited parking around the ground as well as surrounding areas.

This will be the second fixture in both Argyle and Parkway’s pre-season campaign. Steven Schumacher’s side are coming off a 1-0 victory against Heart of Midlothian during last week’s Spanish training camp, which came via a superb Freddie Issaka strike.

Parkway began their preparations for the upcoming season with a 4-0 win at Willand Rovers on Saturday.
