Argyle Women forward Phoebie Poole has been voted the club’s Player of the Month for January.
The Welsh star found the back of the net twice in the month, with both goals coming in an important FAWNL Cup quarter-final victory against Lewes away from home.
Phoebie won the supporters’ poll with 65% of the vote, ahead of Tianna Teisar (20%), Una Lue (9%) and Ellie Noble (6%).
Poole said: “I’m delighted to be named Player of the Month for January. The performances this month have come from a real collective effort, and the work ethic around the club has been top class, which has helped me succeed on the pitch.
“There’s a lot to look forward to in the next few games, and we’re fully focused on taking this form into February and continue our hunt for promotion.”
