Action returns for Argyle this Easter Sunday as the Greens travel to The Hive, where they will face London Bees in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division.

The Greens head to North London with their safety in the division now confirmed, thanks to results that occurred last weekend, when Argyle were not in action.

With four games remaining in the season, the focus is now to finish as high in the table as possible, and cement what has been a very good second half of the season for Ryan Perks' team.

In their last outing, Argyle were 2-0 down to second-placed Hashtag United, but an Ellie Sara double meant Argyle earned a point.

"I thought we played some excellent football," said Perks. "We deserved the point as a minimum and probably should have nicked the three points at the end, but it shows again we can compete with the bigger teams in the league.

"With results last week going our way, it's confirmed our safety in the league. To have achieved that with four games to spare is something we’re all really delighted with. We’ve mentioned previously how we’ve been looking up the league more so than down for the past few weeks, but to be able to do it with our safety secured is a great feeling.

"Our full attention now turns to what we can get from these last few fixtures and if we put in performances like we did last week, I think we’ve got a really good opportunity to climb further up the table.”

Sunday's game against London Bees also marks a special occasion for Perks, who celebrates his 100th game as Argyle manager. A win this weekend would be even more special.

“I can't believe it's my 100th game in charge already," Perks said. "The time has gone by so fast, and it's been a pleasure to continue to work for such a great club and a fantastic group of players.

"We’re looking forward to the game this weekend and have to make sure we are focused on getting the three points, which won't be a given. Although Bees are bottom of the league, they have been very competitive in all their games since Christmas and have shown huge improvementsm, but if we turn up with the focus we had against Hashtag we will come away with a positive result."

The game will be held at The Hive, London. Kick-off is at 2pm, tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for under-17s. If you cannot make it to the game, then updates are available on social media @ArgyleWFC.
