Sawyer Visits Cisco Homes

Argyle Ambassador Gary Sawyer and Commercial Development Manager Matt Kimberley delivered a housewarming gift to club sponsors Cisco Homes last month.

Cisco Homes, sponsors of our shirt sleeve for the Greens’ Emirates FA Cup ties against Rochdale and Birmingham City as well as holders of an advertising board at Home Park, recently moved into a new business unit, and former club captain Sawyer delivered two signed shirts to help decorate the office and show the club’s gratitude for Cisco Homes’ support in our successful cup run.

Founded in 2016, Cisco Homes has insulated over 5,000 homes, and their business has grown from a small family operation to a near three-figure staff base, covering the breadth of the country from Penzance to Newcastle.

The family-run team are specialists in home insulation and energy-saving solutions, and their services are perhaps more important than ever given the rising energy costs our communities are facing in 2022.

The driving force behind the club’s relationship with Cisco Homes is Director Stuart Umney, a hardened Argyle supporter and season ticket holder. Since getting involved with Argyle in a sponsorship capacity, Stuary has commented on the increased feedback and interest from Plymothians who have recognised the business’ branding at Home Park and beyond.

Speaking after the visit to Cisco Homes’ new offices, Matt Kimberley said: “We were delighted to pop down and visit Stuart and the team recently, and give our thanks for their support throughout the season.

“Our Emirates FA Cup run was incredible, and Cisco Homes were a big part of that, supporting us through the rounds to get to Chelsea – and the memories from that game will last a lifetime.

“Local companies play a huge part in shaping the future of the club – our progress is built on a foundation of contributions from supporters like Stuart doing what they can to help Argyle move forward.”
