Stoke City Pre Match Show

Argyle’s penultimate away trip of the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season could see them secure their status in the second tier for another season. 

The Greens know that a win, their first in Stoke for over a century, and defeats for Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday, would mean that their status as a Championship side will be retained. 

Opponents Stoke City are also in a fight to avoid the drop. Their 1-1 draw with Wednesday last weekend keeps them three points above the drop zone, and victory over Argyle would see them reach the 50-point mark. 

The match will see former Argyle boss, Steven Schumacher, take on the side he guided to promotion last season, for the first time – just to add some extra spice to the fixture. 

Over 2,500 supporters will be making the journey to the Potteries for the game, however, fans not lucky enough to get a ticket will be able to follow the game wherever they are, on Argyle TV.  

All of the build-up will be available to watch from 2pm where Alex Wood will be joined by former Argyle defender, Brian McGlinchey, for the pre-match show. They will bring you all the team news, exclusive interviews, and views from inside the Argyle camp.
