The club would like to place on record our thanks to supporters in the Devonport End for co-operating with updated safety guidance during the Easter Monday Sky Bet League One fixture against Sunderland.

As communicated last week, our match day safety team had reported an increasing trend of supporters congregating in Block 3 in the Devonport End, despite not holding tickets for the area – which resulted in the implementation of additional ticketing checks. We are pleased to report that far fewer instances of this behaviour during the draw with the Black Cats.

Staff at the club take no pleasure in implementing more stringent measures, nor issuing tedious reminders on the subject – but supporter safety is our utmost priority. 

Once again, we thank the Green Army for their understanding, as well as your tremendous backing of the team throughout the 21/22 campaign - with two massive regular season games still to come.
